Goddess Provisions: February “Faerie” Box

“F” is for February and faeries? Welcome back, fam! I have another Goddess Provisions unboxing for y’all. I swear, each month I fall in love with Goddess Provisions all over again. I love their customer service. I love the amazing products they introduce me to. And I love, LOVE how happy it makes my little nerd heart. Because we should do the things that make us happy, y’all. Forget about the naysayers and let those inhibitions go. You might find the life you’ve always wanted. Okay, fortune cookie wisdom aside, this box is LIT.

For those of you who maybe aren’t familiar with GP, they’re a beautiful company that operates as a monthly subscription service. They send out boxes once a month to their goddess subscribers full of holistic, natural, earth-friendly focused products ranging from beauty to tea and food, even jewelry and crystals. The value is amazing and the various companies they contract with have business models that strive for a better world, whether by supplying healthful products or raising awareness. Who doesn’t love that? So let’s get into February’s box…

First is this adorable “Faerie Magick” Cottagewicks candle made with 100% natural soy wax.  It’s a beautiful lavender scent– not overwhelmingly synthetic like some lavender candles can be, but really natural. The candle also has a big chunk of turquenite embedded in the wax (YUSSS) which is one of my absolute favorites, though I don’t have any like this just yet. So I’ll be adding it to my collection once the candle’s burned down. And you can bet I’ll be repurposing this tin, too. I couldn’t find this specific travel tin candle on their site (it may have been special for GP’s February box) but they have tons of similar scents in the same size and larger sizes (in super cute mason jars). Cottagewicks also has some awesome bath+body that I will DEFINITELY be checking out.  Retail: $7.00

Natural beautify products? CAN I GET AN AMEN?! Okay. So if y’all saw my last GP post [here] then you might remember the color-correcting concealer trio palette from Pacifica Beauty. This is the same company. Pacifica is cruelty-free, 100% vegan and a billion percent amazing. They’re a fairly new brand to me so I haven’t gotten to experiment too much with them but ohmylanta this liquid mineral strobe highlighter is EVERYTHING. I am so here for this. On my eyelids. On my brow bone. On my cheekbones. This stuff is incredible. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and it’s incredibly wearable (not heavy, sticky, or greasy). Retail: $13.00

Next is this little bottle of mineral bath salts from Element Botanicals. Soothing rosewood and lavender (lots of lavender in this box) mixed with sea salts and mineral salts to help relax and decompress. I’m not a bath person but I wish I was and I love having stuff like this on hand for guests, last minute gifts, or just when the mood strikes. These are also great as foot or hand soaks if you, like me, are more of a shower person. Again, I think this specific product was crafted specially for Goddess Provisions so I couldn’t find it available on their site, but I did find a full size bath salt soak that was similar and retails for $13.00.

It’s not what you think it is, I swear! Superfeast is a company that specializes in tonic herbs, meaning they’re all about healing the body naturally and getting people back in touch with natural remedies and healthy alternatives to some of our everyday food and drinkstuffs. I was a bit skeptical when I pulled this out of the box. But it smells absolutely incredible (like toasted marshmallows?) and is pretty tasty, too. So here’s what they had to say about their Mason’s Mushrooms: “Medicinal mushrooms are adaptogenic herbs revered in the ancient herbal traditions for their ability to build immunity, balance hormones and nourish the nervous and immune systems (they provide food for your immune system). Medicinal mushrooms are (generally) the variety that grow on trees, working symbiotically with the plants and soil to unite the forests of Earth in maintaining a super-healthy ecosystem. This is what they do in our bodies too. All the herbs used in this blend are tonic, meaning they will work to adapt your body to stress, balance your hormones, and enable your immunity to evolve permanently so you can ensure your health is potentiated for ultimate longevity and vitality. Our wildcrafted medicinal mushrooms are grown in and harvested from their natural homes in pristine forests in wild China. They are super clean (third-party tested) and super potent.”

That being said, this stuff is pretty expensive. The equivalent online (a 50g jar) retails for $36.00 so getting this as part of my subscription box is a total bargain.

This product is still a bit mysterious to me, honestly. It looks like another essential oil but it’s a unique blend by Biolumenessence that includes daisy and St. John’s Wart (which I am familiar with and take as a daily supplement to help with stress management). You can take a few drops of this under your tongue or add it to a diffuser, bath, or lotion. So far I’ve only tried using it under my tongue and it tastes pretty good– not at all bitter like some of them can be. I’m all for positive alignment and using essential oils to work magic from the inside out and the outside in. Retails: $20.00

And what would a February box be without a little tumbled rose quartz? Known commonly as the “love stone,” rose quartz is said to “give off strong vibrations of love, happiness, warmth, and emotional health.” Such a great addition to my growing collection! A piece this size retails for about $5.00

The next item isn’t really my aesthetic but it is pretty cute.  It’s this little faerie pin by Lisa Junius who I learned is a multidisciplinary artist from Luxembourg. If you get a chance to check out her website, please do. I love her ceramics and her overall style — there are several pins of hers that I absolutely love and will totally be heading back for. As for this cute pin, I’d probably style just pinned onto a denim jacket with a bunch of cheeky pins, buttons, or patches. Retail: $12.00

So many amazing things in this month’s box, y’all! The candle is seriously incredible and I can’t wait to check out more products from Pacifica. If you haven’t done so already, check out Goddess Provisions and all they have to offer. It’s one of the best things I’ve done this year. Leave a comment below with your favorite products!
