If You’re a Bird, I’m a Bird: Mama Bird & Co Haul & Review

What is it about a favorite t-shirt that makes it superior to all other t-shirts? Is it the broken-in, super soft texture? Is it the universally applicable truth of a quick quip or the secretive subtlety of the graphic design? Maybe it’s the humanitarian origin story behind the tee– knowing that you’re supporting a cause you can truly get behind with each and every purchase. A favorite t-shirt is a message, a representation of who we are and what we’re here for. It says “this is what matters to me.” What if I told you I knew of a company that specializes in hand-crafting just such a product? Several such products, in fact ranging from tees and tanks to fleecy sweatshirts. Too good to be true? Not quite.

Miles Tribe, I would like to introduce you to my friend Tori Tinnon, founder of  Mama Bird & Co. She’s built up her beautiful corner of the world so that it stretches across multiple forums including her website www.mamabirdandco.com, her Etsy.com account, and her Instagram page @mamabirdandco where she features the #mamabirdtribe full of everyday women and children sporting her positive messages in the comfiest, cutest ways possible. When you visit her site you’ll read all about how her company was born out of her love “to create tees, tanks and baby onesies in…[her]… studio in Austin, TX. All… designs are screen printed (by hand) on high quality, soft and comfy tees. Mama Bird & Co. is a family affair and we take pride in our designs and our work.” Hand printed with love from one family to another. How could you not immediately girl crush over this? I’m not embarrassed to say that I did.

As if this weren’t enough, as you’re falling in love with each item in her shop you’ll notice that she offers not only a variety of styles but a variety of sizes (ranging from women’s small up to xxl) in everything from ringer tees to muscle tanks, boyfriend shirts, off shoulder tees and fleecy sweatshirts… even children’s tees and infant onesies, like she said, so that you can coordinate like a mother. Tori prides herself on making sure her customer base is getting a quality product at an affordable price and she always keeps her tribe in the know on what’s coming soon to her shop. One look at her site had me swooning over all of the designs! Cheeky, quirky, loving, positive, and bohemian vibes all printed by hand in fun, unexpected ways that keep things fresh and unique. Right now she’s even printing select tees in a brand new rose gold ink which is so on trend. Needless to say, I plan to snag as many designs in this color as I can get!

With the holidays coming up I truly can’t think of a better gift to share with my own tribe: y’all. My photos below don’t do her incredible shirts justice but I had to include a few just to show how versatile her designs can be. This is only a fraction of what she has available and she can even print certain designs on the shirt of your choosing, she’s that accommodating. She has a love and a passion that she is sharing with the world and I can’t think of a company I’d rather support with my purchase than one run by a tough as nails, sweet as pie mother of three deep in the heart of Texas. So check her out, y’all. Be sure to comment below with your favorite Mama Bird & Co. design and follow along on Instagram @milestogoxo for more outfit inspiration featuring my favorite tshirts. Until next, y’all. Wishing you all good things, always. Xo
